Transport and trade compliance

In a subsequent Umicore assignment, I established a new PMO for transport and trade compliance. Based in Belgium in a hybrid arrangement, I worked with the team across Europe, North America, and Asia.

My contribution

• Built the PMO from scratch, including data intake, dashboards, reporting structures, and delivery governance.
• Introduced a shared planning, tracking, and reporting model used by project managers across the matrix organisation.
• Established a coordinated view of project progress, risks, priorities, and decisions.
• Supported business-value delivery through clear accountability and proportionate administration.

Leadership across projects

The role combined PMO establishment with coordination across a matrix organisation. Project managers reported progress through the model I created, giving the team a shared view of delivery while keeping administration proportionate. The working model was designed to improve agility and help teams move faster.
